At the closing of EAES26, the Uongozi Career Awards will recognize the individuals and institutions doing the most to advance career development, employability and skills advancement across East Africa.
The awards sit alongside the summit’s wider objective to identify, recognize and amplify the efforts of individuals and institutions promoting career and skills development in the region — from career champions and skills-development institutions to youth-led initiatives and lifetime contributions to the field.
Nomination guidelines for the 2026 awards will be published on the Resources page. The gala dinner and awards ceremony close out the summit on the evening of 29 October.
